Allen Cunningham, often referred to as the most underrated player in poker,
has taken down another win. This time it was in the $1k buy-in event at the 2006 World Series of Poker Circuit event
currently running at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. Cunningham collected $106,161 for this win, making his career
tournament earnings total an excess of $3.5 million.Last year, Allen placed first in four tournaments including the $3k event at the 5th Annual Five Diamond Classic at the Bellagio, the 3k event at the Plaza's Ultimate Poker Challenge, and the $1500 NLHE event at the 2005 World Series of Poker.
Also placing in the money at the same tournament as Cunningham was David Tran of El Monte, California. David took third place and collected $29,857 for his efforts. This is the 8th tournament cash for David Tran in 2006 alone.
